Fisherman's Wharf is one of the funnest tourist spots in the city. It's always filled with people walking around, shopping, and taking pictures no matter what time of the day it is. Live music and lots of entertainment going on as well. It's full of all types of restaurants along the bay with really good food & drink happy hours.
Restaurants and chowder stands are all along the Wharf. Take a lunch break and have some of the famous chowder. Every time I come to Fisherman's Wharf, I can't help but get a bread bowl of it... now just add a glass of red wine, and I'm set for the day.
Since you're already walking through Fisherman's Wharf, you might as well hop on the iconic San Francisco trolley! The trolleys depart across the street from the corner of Beach & Hyde (right across from The Buena Vista). If you are planning an event for clients traveling into the city for the first time, a trolley would be a great excursion to coordinate. They will get a chance to see the city & take some really fun pictures!
