If you've read my "Oahu Excursions" or "Plan the Perfect Corporate Vacation" posts, then you should know I've produced events out in Oahu, Hawaii. Those of you who haven't read those posts.... feel free to check them out in the links above!
Although I was out in Hawaii producing these corporate events, I did take some time for myself to explore & have fun when I could! As an event planner, I'm all about working hard... and playing harder. #lifeofaneventplanner

The view from my hotel room. Not bad, eh??
Turtle Bay Resort
We found a cute little coconut stand as we were driving through Haleiwa. Of course we had to stop and try it out for ourselves.
Best decision we could have made that day.
We took a drive through Haleiwa and found a food truck park. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. Giovanni's Shrimp Truck is the BEST!
The Bachelorette anyone? Yup, ran into these two hotties on the trip. This was actually the second time I have met Zack & Rob. The first time was at The Grammys in LA. I think they are following me... and I'm totally ok with that.
The beach outside of Turtle Bay Resort.
I don't think I had one bad meal on this trip. You obviously can't go wrong with the seafood here.
We took a nice relaxing hike up to Waimea Falls. It wasn't a difficult hike... more of a nature walk I would say.
We made it to Waimea Falls!
After you finish up your hike at Waimea Falls, go check out the beach across the street. This was my favorite beach in the area - it's big, quiet, and way less crowded than others.
You just have to.
Matsumoto Shave Ice
Yup, so this happened. We decided to take a surf lesson. If there was any activity to do in your spare time out in Hawaii, this would be it. We took our surf lesson in North Shore where most of the locals go to surf.
I'll admit it loud & proud... I got up my second try, baby!
Thank you Lauren Souers Photography!
